For over 10 years, founder Karen Sadler has used her companies ARTLIFE and FILMLAB to bring arts and culture to schools and communities. Her current focus is teaching filmmaking as a form of healing and self-expression, a result of her three year production partnership with Hollywood Director Joey Travolta.

Karen Sadler
Sadler’s work with Travolta, such as the HEAL Film Camp in Jacksonville Florida, has produced a summer program for 50 children, most of whom are diagnosed with Autism Spectrum Disorder. The kids, ages 10-17, learn to write, act, direct, and edit short films of their own.
